Terms & Conditions

DECKO Travel by Karrie acts as a travel advisor and intermediary between you (the Client) and travel providers (hotels, cruise lines, etc.). By using our services, you agree to the following:

1. Professional Planning Fees

  • Hotels & Cruises: My professional services for standard hotel and cruise bookings are complimentary.

  • Custom Itineraries & Group Travel: A non-refundable Professional Planning Fee is required before the research and design phase begins. This fee covers my professional time and expertise and is separate from the cost of your travel.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Provider Policies: All bookings are subject to the specific cancellation policies of the hotel, cruise line, or tour operator. I will always present these to you at the time of booking.

  • Our Fees: Any Professional Planning Fees paid to DECKO Travel are non-refundable, even if the trip is canceled or postponed.

  • Change Fees: Significant changes to an itinerary after it has been finalized may be subject to an additional "Change Fee."

3. Responsibility

While I work directly with hotel management and vetted partners to ensure a VIP experience, DECKO Travel is not responsible for the acts, errors, omissions, or negligence of any travel provider. We are also not liable for injury, loss, or damage caused by circumstances beyond our control (e.g., weather, strikes, or government actions).

4. Travel Insurance

I strongly recommend the purchase of travel insurance for all trips. Travel insurance can protect your investment in the event of unforeseen cancellations, medical emergencies, or travel delays. I can provide quotes for insurance but am not a licensed insurance agent.

5. Documentation

It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure they have valid passports, visas, and any required health documentation (vaccinations, etc.) for their destination. Passports generally must be valid for at least six months beyond your return date.
